Florida 2019 Summer Stock Risers

Here is a list of players who we think raised their recruiting stock this spring/summer club season.

Class of 2020

Emani Jefferson 5’7” Guard North Port – One of the most athletic players in Florida is currently the top uncommitted player in Florida. Interest in Conference USA but could be a fringe Power 5 Player as recruiting plays out.

Cairah Mays 5’9” Guard Seffner Christian – Moved her way into a Top 5 Florida rankinge. Powerful guard shot the ball well this summer uber competitive will compete for a starting spot day 1 at Marshall.

Maliyah Perry 5’6” Guard Carrollwood Day School – One of the top scoring guards in Florida hit big shots all year for South Beach Elite. One of the leading scorers in the UAA after the spring is poised for a big senior year.

Savannah Lang 5’9” Guard Cape Coral (FL) – Every team needs a glue player and that is exactly what lang is. She was a huge part of the South Beach Elite team which had a Top 10 finish in the Girls UAA. Good shooter makes good decisions and a very good defender.

Class of 2021

Jasmyne Roberts 5-9 Wing Bishop Kenny (Jacksonville, Fl) – Huge showing the first half of July which resulted in an offer from Virginia Tech among others. Elevated herself in our regards to the #2 player in 2021 in Florida. Roberts can score at all 3 levels, great passer, and an elite rebounder for her size.

Erin Turral 5’6” Guard Lincoln HS (Tallahassee, Fl) The leading scorer in the Girls UAA 16U League this year Turral put up 30 point after 30 point game on her way to a Top 10 Finish in the Girls UAA 16U League. Turral showed this summer in her class she is one of the top guards in the country.

Kayla Blackshear 6-1 Forward Lake Highland Prep (Orlando, FL) – Currently leads the state in Power 5 offer with about half of the ACC and SEC. Powerful player who dominates the paint was a bright spot for CFE this summer.

Aryana Dizon 6-2 Forward Carrollwood Day School (Tampa, Fl) – Break out summer for Dizon at the 4 spot for FGB. Dizon was one a force on defense from being on the ball in the press to blocking shots in the back of it. A good mid range game and finished well around the basket really elevated her in the eyes of college coaches this summer.

Skylar Baltezegar 6-3 Post Middleburg (FL) – With a deep post class in Florida Baltezegar has established herself as one of the top post players in the state. Baltezegar finished well, blocked shots, and was one of the leading rebounders in the Girls UAA. Look for her to use this summer to be one of the Top 5 players this year in Jacksonville High School Basketball.

Zaida Gonzalez 5-9 Guard Palm Beach Lakes (FL) – One of the best athletes in Florida in 2021 came out of no where to be a starter for FGB and be one of the Top 2021’s in Florida. Interest from a variety of programs across D1 already.

Morgan Dillard
5’8” Point Guard Seminole HS (Sanford, Fl) – Rising to be one of the top if not the top PG prospect in Florida after picking up an offer from UCF. Dillard has performed well despite not having an elite supporting cast and I believe still could be undervalued in recruiting. Depending on her setting in the summer of 2021 she could easily make a push towards a Power 5 League.

Class of 2022

Kyla Abraham 6-5 Post Choctaw (Fort Walton Beach, Fl) – A transplant from Texas showed as much potential on the circuit this summer attracting attention from media outlets across the country. Highlight blocks, elite rebounding, and a developing post game are going to make her a priority in 2022 recruiting in Florida

Marissa Brown 6-0 Forward Fort Walton Beach (FL) – Brown had a breakout summer for FGB as one of the best Power Forwards in the Girls UAA. Great rebounder, scores around the basket, and emerging face up game makes her one of the best prospects in Florida.

Reese Tremitiere 6-2 Forward Gulf Coast (Naples, Fl) – An impressive forward who is one of the strongest most solid forwards I have seen in the 2022 class. Finishes well around the basket and has good hands and feet potential Power 5 Prospect in time.

Kailyn Gilbert 5–8 Guard Tampa Prep (FL) – Nearing double digit Power 5 offers Gilbert is the standard for recruiting in Florida’s 2022 class. Made a name for herself in every stop of the summer is just tapping into her own potential.

Kayla Smith 5-10 Wing Winter Haven (FL) – 3 D1 offers already for the 2022 from Winter Haven who’s turned into one of the best prospects in Central Florida. The lefty can shoot the 3 plays with high motor and has a great frame.

Class of 2023

Jada Jones 6-4 Post Sandalwood HS (Jacksonville, Fl) – Breakout summer for the 6-4 post from Jacksonville where she caught the eyes of national evaluators all over the country. Jones is improved her finishing around the basket and has one of the best frames in the class.

Taliah Scott 5-9 Guard The Bolles School (Jacksonville, Fl) – Still the standard in the class for guards. Scott shot the ball well and has one of the best skill sets for any player in the country at her age. After a strong showing at USA Basketball she has continued to become a house hold name for Power 5 Programs.

D’Yanis Jimenez 5-8 Guard Mariner HS (Cape Coral, Fl) – Crafty guard who made her national exposure debut at Southern Showtime and the UAA Finals. Can shoot the 3 and has all the tools to be an elite player in Florida.

Chariot Johnson 5’7 Guard Sarasota HS (FL) – People dont know it yet but Chariot Johnson is one of the best guards in Florida. An athletic attacker who can get to the rim and score at will once she gets on the circuit and into high school ball will be a house hold name.

Aja Pollard 5’9” Wing St John (FL) – Another player I have liked for two years Pollard is a strong wing who can score the ball and has a ton of upside. Her being able to get elite competition and around elite players will be key to her development over time.
