FREE – Florida’s Biggest Off Season Travel Team Moves

After a wacky 2020 COVID season many things have changed on the travel season from circuit affiliation to coaches coming and going. Here are the top players in Florida who will be playing in a new uniform this spring and summer.

Karina Gordon 5-8 G 2023 (St. Thomas) Miami Suns to FGB – Gordon took the COVID 2020 year off but joins FGB’s Top UAA team for this season. A top 5 shooter in the state picked up a state title this year with a  huge showing in the state tournament.

Tyra Brown 5-10 W 2023 (Fort Myers) Team Knight to Tampa Thunder – Long athletic wing who was a Top 100 Prospect at one point missed the 2020 season because of injury is a big pick up for the newly created Team Candice Dupree.

Jada Green 6-1 F 2022 (St. Thomas) Miami Suns to FGB – Green leaves the Miami Suns after one year after relocating from Georgia. Green with a big high school season and fast start to the travel season is inching up the rankings and lists of college coaches with her size, athleticism, and rebounding ability.

Sydney Bowles 5-10 G 2022 (Woodward Academy GA) Georgia Pearls to Essence – Rumors are Bowles is between team Elite and Essence but you can see the groundwork that she already is with Essence. If Bowles plays with Essence it likely makes their 17U team the top team in the state and the biggest pick up of the off season.

Breanna Gustave 5-8 G 2022 (St. Thomas) Miami Suns to FGB – Strong guard is one of the best 2022’s in the state makes her move to FGB after a state championship season at St. Thomas Aquinas.

Taja Stephens 5-6 G 2022 (Western) Team Knight to Tampa Thunder – High powered scoring guard looks to find that right fit after playing with FGB and Team Knight in 2020. Stephens joins the newly formed Team Candice Dupree.

Reese Tremitiere 6-2 F 2022 (Gulf Coast) Auburn Raptors to FGB – Tremitiere played for the Tampa Thunder in 9th grade before moving to her aunts team out of Georgia. Tremitiere is one of the top 2022’s in Florida and one of the top front court prospects in the South.

Lauren Stewart 5-10 F 2022 (Palm Coast) Hoop Dreams Elite to DME – Stewart has played for Hoop Dreams since middle school and is the center piece at Palm Coast now. She makes a more local decision to make the drive down to Daytona Beach and play for DME.

Liv Fuller 5-10 W 2023 (Clearwater) Tampa Thunder to FGB – Quickly emerging as a Top 2023 in Florida after Warren Jones decided to not coach club made a brief move to Florida United before settling on FGB’s top teams. She has been one of the most impressive players in the state in March of the Florida AAU Season.

Ace Sturdivant 5-10 F 2023 (Clearwater) Tampa Thunder to FGB – Sturdivant can shoot the ball and is really in that point forward mold. She joins Hockley and Fuller with FGB this year and already has locked up a starting roll with FGB.

Beckham Hockley 5-8 G 2024 (Clearwater) Tampa Thunder to FGB – Has to be one of the hardest working players in the state Hockley is most improved in the last 12 months making her a serious college prospect just in the 9th grade. Hockley is starting for FGB playing up and one of their leading scorers so far this season.
