Lovejoy Fall League Preview

Lovejoy Fall League Preview

Lovejoy High School has been a staple in the girls’ basketball community in Georgia over the past 5 years. Each year you can expect Lovejoy to go deep into the state tournament and have kids sign college scholarships after the season. This is amazing for a program that comes from an area that most people will not stay in. It is amazing to see a team build a program in this environment and create such a  strong program that they have been able to bring teams from all across Georgia to create one of the best fall leagues in the state.

Teams in the Lovejoy Fall league include Carver Columbus, McEachern, and Marietta to name just a few. These teams are some of the best of the best in the state of Georgia. Two of them are coming off state championship seasons. Teams from other states including Alabama attend as well. There are a ton of D1 players playing in the league and the competitiveness and games are a must-see.

Players like 7A potential player of the year Chloe Sterling who is the leader of her Marietta squad. Sterling has taken Marietta to a state championship and hopes to repeat that feat again this year. Lovejoy is stacked and comes in with 6 players holding division one scholarships. Carver Columbus was able to measure where they stand after losing Clemson signee Kionna Gaines. This league has allowed every coach to measure their team in a very competitive environments.

Lovejoy has created one of the best fall leagues in the state of Georgia and Coach King does not publicize their league like some others. The focus is simply to get better and give your team a very competitive environment. If you would like to see some good basketball feel free to pull up to Lovejoy high school in the fall.
