Berkley showed a fantastic read on the ball and was a force when it came to getting into the passing lanes and coming up with steals and deflections. On the offense, she displayed the ability to get to the highest percentage shots on the court. She scored inside the paint off quick drives or moves to the basket and finished layups as well as got to her sweet spot behind the arc and connected on multiple 3-pointers on the day. Her area of opportunity would be to look to reign in her defense intensity as a couple of times, she went for steals and unfortunately missed and it took her out of the defensive play and if she hones in and knowing when to strike for the ball will help her keep her matchups in front of her and provide her strong defense presence.

Berkley provided her squad energy, intensity, and effort whenever she was on the court. She provided her squad those type of aspects that don’t always show up in the box score. She played intense defense using speed and quick hands to cause havoc with deflections or steals. She also showed that she was willing to give up her body willing to get the middle of a scrum to try and tie up opponents or to secure the loose ball for her team. She also showed she could also crash in from the perimeter and try and hustle for rebounds among the trees downlow. Her area of opportunity would be to continue to be willing to seek out her own shot. Most of her opportunities came from extra-effort but she has the handles and scoring ability to create her own shots and should make defenses pay if they don’t play her honestly and give her looks.
