Multi-sport student athlete with an excellent GPA. She participates in Tennis, Basketball and Track. She is a guard but can play most positions when needed. Great work ethic and leadership qualities both on and off the court.
MN State Tournament Evaluation - May 2021 Savanah is a hyper-athletic and deceptively quick wing type of player. On defense, she truly can guard positions one through five. She has the length and upper body strength to hold her own in the paint and not be overpowered and then also possesses the foot speed to keep guards in front of her and use wingspan to come up with blocks and strong contests. On offense, she seems to be in constant motion and always making cuts towards the basket or looking to slip into the openings in the defense. When she is out on the wing, she showed a smooth passing vision and used her height to get passes into her post players or to guards making cuts and she put that pass right on the money. An area of opportunity for her would be being more selective on when to go for blocks. While she can be an impactful shot blocker, she at times got caught out of position and swinging which could put her in foul trouble. Her impact can be felt on both sides of the ball so knowing her value and not putting herself in a position to get fouls will help her stay on the court and be impactful for longer stretches.
