Wright is a strong and active guard out on the court. She has deceptive quickness that can lull defenders into letting their guard down and she can get past them with a quick burst of speed to the basket with out without the ball in her hands. She can absorb contact on the way to the basket and still keep her eye on the basket and finish the shot or get herself to the free-throw line. One area she will need to continue to work on is on defense, getting through screens more consistently so that she is not put in a mismatch with a post player who could finish over her. She has the strength to compete with post players, however sometimes the height situation is more than enough to overcome. She is a nice stock rising combo guard.
