Featured40 Minnesota - November 2020 

Ella showed off her consistent perimeter shooting throughout the Featured 40. She scored both inside and outside and made defenders have to attempt to try and pick their poison of how to try and slow her down. She also displayed her improving ball handling skills. She handled the ball in the open court as well as attacking into the teeth of the defense and putting pressure and limited her turnovers. Another area of opportunity would be to work on her pull-up midrange game. If she can be a threat to score from all 3 areas on the court, it would make her that much more difficult to stop on the offensive side of the ball. 


Summer Showcase (MN) - August 2020

Ella is a knock down 3-point shooter. She can hit with consistency from behind the arc and makes the defense pay if they give her any daylight. She also has nice handles that allow her keep defenders off balance because if they close out too hard on her 3-pointer, she can put the ball on the floor and get herself into the painted area and create for herself or locate an open teammate. Her area of growth would be working on being more secure with the ball off the bounce. She at times can get herself into trouble going into traffic that can lead to turnovers. Once she has complete control of the ball, defenders won’t be able to stop her easily from getting to her desired spot on the court.
