The Elite Experience 2023 Jordyn is highly active presence around the basket, utilizing her size and frame to make an impact. She is a skilled finisher with a strong ability to convert opportunities around the rim, showing great touch and creativity in her finishes. Her size and frame make her a tough matchup for opponents, allowing her to create scoring chances and contribute on both ends of the court. Additionally, she can handle the ball effectively for her size, showing good ball-handling skills and the ability to initiate the offense. Her skills and potential suggest that she is a likely D1 player, and her ability in transition is a valuable asset that allows her to create scoring opportunities for herself and her teammates. Fall Exclusive 2022 Jordyn showed that she was nearly impossible to slow down or stop when she gets inside the paint or around the rim. Throughout the three weeks, she showed that she could finish on either side of the basket and could finish through high amounts of contact. She showed she could post up or fight for offensive rebounds and she was either going to score or get herself to the free-throw line. Jordyn also showed one of the best foot speeds of the entire event and she could quickly get up the court and multiple times beat everyone down the court for quick scores. Her area of opportunity would be to continue to work on and add counter moves to her back to the basket or inside the paint. With her high-level ability to finish inside the paint, defenders will likely bite at almost every pump-fake or up and under that she throws at them making her have many more open high percentage looks. MN Featured40 2022 Jordyn was the prime example of versatility from the forward position. She has deceptive quickness and often will leave her defenders in the dust as she powers towards the basket or launches into a pull-up jumper. She displayed with all-out effort in every aspect of the game and came up with more than her fair share of tough offensive rebounds and putbacks. Her long reach helps her both reign in boards as well as coming up with emphatic blocks to players who are daring enough to challenge her. She also showed how she could step out and hit the 3-ball if defenders sag off her or are late to recover to her. Her area of opportunity would be working on securing her blocks and keeping the ball in play. She has great timing and control on her shot-blocks and being able to block them back in play and allow her teammates to quickly turn that shot into buckets on the other side of the game. The Elite Experience Minneapolis 2022 Jordyn was a long and active player who could put scoring pressure on defenders both inside and outside. She showed that she does not shy away from contact and with her long reach, she can be a highly disruptive defender both in terms of contesting shots and coming up with deflections and steals. She showed off nice ball handling skills from her height and size during the drills and really showed a focus to keep getting better and better each time she performed a drill or move. With her ability to make quick and decisive moves off the bounce, an area opportunity would be to continue to work on and add a head and shoulders fake in the face up game. Due to her being comfortable getting jumpers from outside the paint, adding a pump fake with a head sell on it will likely get more defenders than not to bite on the shot and give her an open lane to attack off the bounce and score. Minnesota Fall Exclusive (October 2020) Jordyn is an active and athletic guard. She seems equally effective playing with the ball in her hand or playing off the ball. She seems to always be on the move offensively and defenders have to try and keep track of her or risk giving up open looks. She is a capable scorer both from the outside and on the inside. Her movement off the ball allows her to read where the openings are, and she can spot up or slice towards the lane. She has good hands to catch passes on the move and the body control to collet herself and still work on finishing the shot close to the basket. Her high energy effort translates to the defensive side of the game as well as rebounding. She crashes hard form the corners or wings to use her long reach and quick footspeed to chase down rebounds on both sides. Once she has secured the ball, she shows she has a high basketball IQ to know when to go up for a second chance shot or when to kick out to an open shooter spotting up behind the arc. Her area of opportunity would be adding a hesitation dribble to her toolbox of skills. If she could catch defenders off guard, her speed with allow her to blow right past them as they are frozen in their spot.
