Minnesota Fall Exclusive (October 2020)
Jordyn is an active and athletic guard. She seems equally effective playing with the ball in her hand or playing off the ball. She seems to always be on the move offensively and defenders have to try and keep track of her or risk giving up open looks. She is a capable scorer both from the outside and on the inside. Her movement off the ball allows her to read where the openings are, and she can spot up or slice towards the lane. She has good hands to catch passes on the move and the body control to collet herself and still work on finishing the shot close to the basket. Her high energy effort translates to the defensive side of the game as well as rebounding. She crashes hard form the corners or wings to use her long reach and quick footspeed to chase down rebounds on both sides. Once she has secured the ball, she shows she has a high basketball IQ to know when to go up for a second chance shot or when to kick out to an open shooter spotting up behind the arc. Her area of opportunity would be adding a hesitation dribble to her toolbox of skills. If she could catch defenders off guard, her speed with allow her to blow right past them as they are frozen in their spot.
