All-American Showcase 2022

Taelyn brought a nice combination of physicality and quickness that made her highly effective on the court. When she got the ball inside the paint or around the rim, she scored at will and was going to allow defenders to knock her off her stride or stop her from scoring. She was strong with the ball and when she secured a rebound or looked to make a move off the bounce, she didn’t expose the ball to allow defenders to try and knock it away from her. On defense, she showed a good ability to make sure to keep her body between her matchup and the basket and did not allow them to have easy looks inside the paint. Her area of opportunity would be is continuing to work on expanding her scoring consistently in the midrange and 3-point range. With her size, adding a knockdown outside shot could help make her a 3-level scorer with the ball in her hand.
