All-American Showcase 2022

Jade brought an energetic and intense energy to the court for the event. She seemed to thrive using her athleticism and out husting opponents to steals and long rebounds. She gave all-out effort when it came to fighting for loose balls and was not afraid to dive onto the ground trying to secure the ball for her team. When it came to scoring, she displayed impressive handles and the ability to use a quick first step to blow by defenders and get herself into the paint for tough finishes. She also gave extra effort to try and secure second and third opportunities for a bucket if she missed the first opportunity. Her area of opportunity would be to continue to work on limiting reaching in going for steals or deflections. Because of her speed and ability, she can be active in passing lanes or in the 1v1 defense and at times, overzealous energy could and did lead to fouls or reach in fouls. Just working on honing in the energy can make her even more of a difficult defender and effective player on the court.
