MN AAU State 2024

Azli is always looking to create shots for her teammates. She looks to turn defense into offense in a hurry as she is quick to throw strong hit ahead passes to advance the ball up the floor when her team is in transition. Would like to see her find her own shot more often, as she sometimes passes up opportunities and sets her teammate up instead. At the defensive end, she is very active in passing lanes, showcasing great discipline and timing as she looks to get her hands on the ball and head the other way with it. 

Summer Showcase MN 2022

Azli was a guard who plays with high energy and high intensity. She showed a strong basketball IQ the way she could help run her team’s offense in the full court games. She would keep her head up while bringing the ball up the court scanning for teammates to pass to on the break. She displayed a consistent and impressive perimeter shot that she went to early and often when she was on the court. Her area of opportunity would be to work on using the glass with her quick short-range shots. A couple of times her shots were shot or hit hard off the back of rim and laying it softly off the glass would of likely helped it go through the hoop.
