McLaughlin showed that she thrived when she could push the pace of the game and look to use her natural speed to create for either herself or for her teammates. She displayed a really good court vision and pulled out a fantastic passing ability and helped to keep the ball moving for her team. She showed the ability to run down large numbers of rebounds by chasing down long boards as well as sneaking past opponents to grab the rebound before the opposing player could react. From outside the arc, she showed that she has a knock-down shooting stroke and hit multiple 3s in her games. Her area of opportunity would be to continue to work on being more selective when she goes in to secure boards. A couple times, she was the only one back and when she dove in, if her team didn’t get the rebound, it was an easy bucket on the other side for the opponent.
