Fall Exclusive 2022
Kailey showed herself to be an above average rebounder. She came up with multiple rebounds on both sides of the ball. Once she would pull in the rebound on the offensive side, she would not hesitate and would instantly look to go back up to finish the second chance opportunity. On offense, she showed that she could hold her ground to post up strong and appeared comfortable going over either shoulder looking to finish the back to the basket move. She also came up with her fair share of blocks during the day. She would appear to wait for the right moment when the ball was released and send it flying. She showed an improving willingness and ability to score in the midrange and 3-point range during the event. Her area of opportunity would be look to add counter moves to her already strong back to the basket abilities, adding a pump-fake or up and under could help keep defenders guessing how she will score on them.

Smith brought impressive length to the court when she played. Her long reach and long stride when she ran made her incredibly effective at closing down passing lanes and getting up the court in a hurry. She showed a high-level ability to get to her the middle of the court and sides for a smooth pull-up jumper. It was almost a guaranteed bucket when she got one or two dribbles and into her shooting stroke. Her area of opportunity would continue to work on and look for her outside shot. She has the shooting stroke to be an effective outside shooter and continuing to add that as a consistent part of her game will help take her offensive skillset to the next level.
