MN LVL Up Combine 2023 Jessica was one of the quickest players seen the entire day. She moved on the court and up the court with an intensity and velocity that was difficult for anyone else on the court to try and match. The most impressive part was she was equally quick with and without the ball in her hands. She could leave defenders in the dust, and she bolted towards to the basket or into the teeth of the defense. Once she was in the paint, she had next-level body control to contort and maneuver around and past defenders, even when she was air-born to try and score the ball. Her length and wingspan allowed her to often get the shot over a high contest hand and still softly lay the ball in the bucket. On defense, she showed the ability to home in her speed and was extremely disruptive at getting into passing lanes and forcing deflections or turnovers. She was able to close passing lanes much quicker than opponents were anticipating. Her area of opportunity is continuing to work on adding a consistent outside shot to her skillset. She showed the ability to shoot but seemed hesitant to seek out perimeter shots. With her ability to get to the rim at will, defenders will likely sag off and leave her plenty of open outside looks.
