The Fall Exclusive (2024) Paige was a strong shooting guard that showed she could score in bunches and even in clutch situations. While it is clear that she was completely comfortable shooting, she also showed that she had the determination to perfect and continue to work on ball handling and finishing ability off the bounce. She seemed to be hunting and probing the defense often and looking for weak spots in the defense. On defense, she showed that she uses her length and active energy to be highly disruptive when it comes to deflections or steals that her team could turn into points on the other side. Her area of opportunity would be to work on adding a strong pump fake into her skillset. Because of how strong of a shooter she is, if she adds a sellable head or shoulders shot fake or pass fake, she is going to get defenders to go flying or out of position and put herself in a great position to score. 2024 Freshman Focus Paige was an aggressive guard who showed she was a physical and crafty finisher off the bounce. She revealed that she had a good first step that allowed her to quickly get past her defender and into the paint to drop the pass off to a waiting teammate or pull off a finishing through contact and off the glass. She showed she was not afraid to get physical as multiple times, she was the first one to get one on the ground diving for a loose ball or mixed it up in a crowd. Her area of opportunity would be to look to strike from outside the arc more often. She showed she had a nice shot from there and at times defenders sagged off her waiting for her drive and she turned down an open look that she is more than capable of hitting. Fall Exclusive 2023 Paige is a physical guard who can be a master with the ball in her hands. She showed that she can handle the ball like it’s on a string. Her strong build allows her to power through contact and she did a great job of staying focused on the rim to finish the shot. While she also showed that she can be a knockdown outside shooter and had a good read when she had the space to quickly pull the trigger on a 3-pointer. On defense, she was an energetic and relentless defender who could overpower her matchup and force them into rushed and poor percentage shots. Her area of opportunity would be to continue to work on finishing through contact close to the basket. At times it appeared she would allow the physicality to throw off her shot or force to kick out the ball to avoid contact instead looking to power through it.
