EVALUATION

JAS Middle School All-American Camp 2023 

Lily is an active and effective post player who has moves and counter moves for days when she get the ball around the rim. She showed that she was excellent at burying her defenders behind her, holding her ground and when she got the ball, she didn’t waste any time attacking over either shoulder and finishing through contact. Even if multiple defenders were thrown at her, she showed the patience and court awareness to read where they were coming from and attacking away from them. One or two hard dribbles and she could post up through the defenders and finish with consistency at the rim. In the face-up game she showed a smooth shooting stroke and could hit the jumper with regularity out to the free-throw line extended and perimeter. Her area of opportunity would be to continue to work on staying straight up on defense. At times, she would come down and look to get the block and that would put her in position to get called for a foul. Staying straight up and using her length to be disruptive will help her stay on the court longer to effect the game.
