BIO
My name is Brooke Mickolichek and I am a 5'10 freshman guard/forward from Glencoe, Minnesota. I have been playing varsity basketball since last year (8th grade) for Glencoe-Silver Lake High School and this year was awarded the all-conference award for basketball. I also played for North Tartan AAU the last two years and now play for the MN Rise AAU team. I play volleyball and am currently running the 100m, 200m, and 4x200 relay in track for my high school.

EVALUATION
MN AAU State 2024 Brooke is a lengthy defender who does a great job of utilizing her athleticism to disrupt her opponent's shot. She closes out with a high hand and forces her opponent to put the ball on the ground or shoot over the top of her, which is quite the difficult task. Moves her feet quickly and is capable of defending a couple positions. At the offensive end, she showcased her ability to hold her line when driving to the left, as she was not easily knocked off her line and showed a strong sense of physicality as she got all the way to the rim to finish through contact.
