2025 Freshman Focus 

Peyton was a guard who played with high energy and high intensity throughout the event. She showed a strong basketball IQ in the way she could help run her team’s offense in the games. She would keep her head up while bringing the ball up the court, scanning for teammates to pass to on the break. With her quickness on defense, she was able to cause multiple deflections and disruptions to the opposing team. She did a good job of beating her matchup to the spot and cutting off any driving lanes. Her area of opportunity would be to continue to work on and to have confidence in her game and abilities. She at times passed up opportunities or would seem to run through the motions instead of looking to enforce her will on the game. She can hurt defenses multiple different ways and shouldn’t shy away from doing so regularly in a game.

The Fall Exclusive (2024)

Peyton was a tough guard to try and stop from affecting the game in multiple ways. She was always willing to crash in from the wing and came up with tough rebounds or chased them down, beating other players to the ball. On offense, she was a 3-point shooter who could bury open looks and knew when it was time to let it launch and when it was time to keep the ball moving for a better shot or to put the ball on the ground looking for close-range shots. Her area of opportunity would be to work on adding pump-fakes or hesitation dribbles to her game, and it will allow her to lose defenders and have more open looks.
