Hello, my name is Kyleigh Berken. Basketball has been a part of my life since I was three years old, and I’ve played on traveling teams since second grade. Over the years, the court has become my second home—a place where I’ve learned to lead, adapt, and compete. I’m committed to continuing my basketball journey at the collegiate level while pursuing a degree in Sports Medicine, Athletic Training, or Sports Management. As a player, I bring a strong basketball IQ and the ability to read the floor. I can push the tempo in transition or control the pace to execute set plays. Whether it’s creating opportunities with precise passes, knocking down shots, or locking in defensively for stops, I strive to impact every part of the game. I’m extremely coachable and take pride in being the kind of teammate who elevates everyone around me. I play to win, but I also play for something deeper—the connection with my teammates and the pure love of competition. My dedication to the sport was recognized when I was named Athlete of the Year, an honor that reflects not only my performance but also my leadership and character on and off the court. Off the court, I hold myself to the same high standards. I’ve maintained straight A’s in advanced-level courses and was honored as Valedictorian of my class. Balancing academics and athletics has taught me discipline, time management, and the importance of staying focused on long-term goals. I’m excited for the opportunity to continue growing as both a student and an athlete at the next level. I’m ready to bring my work ethic, leadership, and passion to a college program that values excellence both in the classroom and on the court.

The Fall Exclusive 2025 Kyleigh was a versatile player who showed herself to be effective both inside and outside the arc. At her height, she displayed a silky-smooth perimeter shot that allowed her to burn the defense from 3-point range. She was also more than comfortable putting the ball on the ground and using her strength to absorb contact and power up for strong finishes around the rim. She had some of the deepest range seen throughout the event as she displayed she was more than comfortable two or three steps behind the arc. Her area of opportunity would be continuing to perfect and strengthen her ball-handling skills. While she showed she was comfortable putting it on the ground, at times, if there were multiple defenders or pressure out on the perimeter, she seemed less confident and at times lost the ball with indecision. Adding a stronger handle to her game will help her add another dimension to her game.
