EVALUATION

The Fall Exclusive 2025

Evelyn was an active guard who seemed to always be moving on the court. She showed that she is a physical and mobile guard who could keep defenders’ heads spinning during her games, and she never stopped moving and kept looking for holes in the defense to try and attack with the intention to score or setting up her teammates to score. On the defensive side, she showed the footspeed to keep both guards and post players in front of her and a physicality that allows her to body up inside the paint to force them into tough shots. Her area of opportunity would be to continue to work on her confidence with her ball handling. At times, she seems hesitant or looks to be thinking about the game when she is performing dribble-drive moves. She has the body and the speed to be a force off the bounce if she plays with the confidence that she has the skillset to make the move without fear of mistakes.

Freshman Focus (2026)

Evelyn was a strong wing with notable length that allows her to rise and score over defenders. While it is clear that she is completely comfortable shooting, she also showed that she has the determination to perfect and continue to work on ball-handling and finishing ability off the bounce. On defense, she showed that she uses her length and active energy to be highly disruptive when it comes to deflections or steals. An area of opportunity for her would be being more selective when she goes for steals or blocks. At times, her energy was used against her, and if she missed a steal, it would get her out of position; at times, she would swing down for a block. If she is more selective and homes in on her energy and effort, it could make her movements or steal attempts more impactful.
