Featured40 Minnesota - October 2021

Sidney put on a show during the featured40 with her ball handles and passing vision. She showed that she could handle the ball in a crowd or against intense pressure and still get to where she is trying to get on the court. Anytime she was in the game, she kept the ball moving and put passes right on the money to open teammates. Her ability to create shots for herself was on full display as she maneuvered past defenders seemingly with ease and finish close the basket or put her teammates in a good position to score. Her area of opportunity would be continuing to work on patience with her shot. At time she seemed to rush the release or look to shoot it quickly where one more dribble or pausing to let the defender fly by would likely lead her to have a high percentage and open shot which she is more than capable of knocking down.


Minnesota Fall Exclusive (October 2020)

Sidney is a tough as nails player who does not shy away from contact or making extra-effort plays. When she is driving to the basket, she has a knack for creating contact and drawing fouls. She has the body control to still focus on finishing the shot and getting the and-1 opportunity. In terms of making the extra-effort plays, she shows no fear in diving to the ground after loose balls or giving up her body to try and come up deflections or take charges from players powering towards the basket. Her area of opportunity would be looking to attack the rebounding more often. She has the high-energy and effort aspect down so hunting down rebounds will make her have another aspect added to her overall game.
