Featured40 Minnesota (November 2020) Lenzen has shown that she possesses an effective change of pace when she has the ball in her hands. She can methodically probe the defense and finesse her way for close range shots or into the openings for midrange pullup jumpers. If she senses the defense has stood up or lightened up their defensive stance, she can make a quick drive right past them and finish over or around defenders. Her area of opportunity would be to look for and consistently take the outside shot if defenders do not close out on her fast enough. Having that added to her bag of skills will make her hesitation dribble or quick drives even more effective. Featured40 Minnesota Anna brought that junkyard dog intensity to the court throughout her time on the court for the event. She is a tall, physical defender who can take away shooting and passing visions and seem to engulf the opponent. She gave them no room to breathe which forces poor shots or bad passes leading to turnovers. She was a consistent and forceful rebounder who both tracked them down out the perimeter and mixed it up downlow. She could use her lower body strength to uproot the player she was boxing out and force them away from the basket to allow her to secure the ball. She also showed off her patented midrange pullup jumper. If she got a dribble to gather and rise and fire, it was nearly automatic. Her area of opportunity would be to work on and continue to perfect her outside shot. She is a capable 3-point shooter but at times seemed hesitant to shoot it when she has openings behind the arc.
