Florida AAU Announces 2021 Tournament Schedule

After a season which was heavily impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic most event operators and club teams are ramping up for a full 2021 club season. In Florida the largest non-evaluation event each year is the Florida AAU State Tournament and this year there is a new operator of Florida AAU in Elite Sports Events. Elite Sports Events has revamped the Florida AAU schedule giving the championship series a true season feel this year by allowing teams to register for the State Championships, Preliminaries, plus one event for just $595. In the past just the state tournament’s 3 game promise was over $400.

“In the past we have heard many teams just show up to the state tournament and that was the only event they played with AAU the entire year. With our new format all teams who register for the state tournament will get an AAU Tournament for free and will get to play in the seeding tournament (Preliminaries) which will seed for the state championships in May.” – Elite Sports Events

Florida AAU and the AAU Girls State Championships will be operating out of the Marriott World Center where teams will be under one roof competing in a central location in the heart of Central Florida.

“With the ability for teams to compete for their seeding, providing additional opportunities for competition, and a new state tournament format we believe we are growing girls basketball in the state of Florida”
