After COVID interrupted the 2020 club travel season the events in Florida were flipped on their heads. For 2021 with two new facilities who never really saw a lot of action for 2020 are scheduled for a full slate of events in them this spring. With Florida being one of the most open states in the country it allows for a big travel season this spring. All of the event operators below operate multiple events in the state of Florida and are the leader in events in the Sunshine State.
Candice Dupree Invitational – April 30-May 2, 2021 – Wesley Chapel, Fl – Always one of the top events of the year will be in year 2 of being in the all new Wesley Chapel Facility. Nearly all the top programs in the state compete in this event annually with high levels of media coverage.
Florida AAU State Championships & Preliminaries – Under new direction Florida AAU is introducing a model where you play a seeding tournament (Preliminaries) which will seed you for the Finals and the State Tournament.
PASS Southern Jam – April 17-18 – Wesley Chapel, Fl – Typically held in Jacksonville the Southern Jam has moved to the al new Wiregrass Ranch Sports Complex. The Southern Jam has hosted teams from around the country and looks to be one of the top events in the state this year.
PASS Future Stars Nationals – March 27-28, 2021 – Wesley Chapel, Fl – An off shoot from the highly successful Future Stars Individual event held during the July viewing period the vision is to have the top young teams in the country convene to Wesley Chapel to compete early in the AAU Season.
IE Memorial Day Classic – May 28-30, 2021 – Winter Haven, Florida – This first year event looks to really have a great location and date to hit a home run on the Florida travel circuit.
IE Final Four – April 3-4, 2021 – Wesley Chapel, Florida – Another great date and great location. A way for teams to continue to get competition and play in a great venue.
IE Tip Off – March 6-7, 2021 – Wesley Chapel, Florida – Really the opening weekend of the travel season in Florida will be on display for one of the best facilities in the state of Florida and Insider Exposure.
