2022 Commitments In The DMV – Catch Up With The Latest Recruiting News! (Part 1)

2022 Commitments in the DMV – Part 1

As the 2022s, prepare over the next few weeks to participate in their last high school try-outs, their last first game of the final season, and many last experiences in their high school career.  This special time is celebrated by some and dreaded by others, but for all seniors, the recommendation is to enjoy each moment of it, especially as we’re hoping for a better basketball experience this year than was experienced last year at the height of the pandemic.

With either an abbreviated 2020 high school basketball season or no season at all, the opportunity to commit to a college of one’s choice may be extra special for the class of 2022.  Therefore, we would like to recognize the known commitments so far and we anticipate announcing additional 2022 commitments in Part 2 of this article series.  Commitments have been made to a wide variety of schools at various levels.  In my travels recently, a long-term coach who has coached at smaller colleges, mid-majors, and now at a high-major shared that for many years the DMV has been fertile ground for college recruiting.  It is encouraging to know that this trend of being a fertile ground for college recruiting continues in 2022.
