New Heights Youth, Inc. is a non-profit organization based in New York City that focuses on sports-based youth development and education. Founded in 2001 by a public school teacher and basketball coach, Nick Blatchford, New Heights uses basketball as a way to engage promising young men and women in the program, provide high-quality educational opportunities, and instill important values and life skills that will help them succeed in high school, college, and beyond.

Welsh was formerly with iExcel and now joining forces with New Heights makes them even more dangerous. Zahra King and Aurora Sanchez will lead their squad in an attempt to replacate last year’s very successful innaugeral season in the Select 40.
