Select 40 Program Preview: Michigan Mystics

The Michigan Mystics is a prominent girls’ basketball club that was established in 1998. Prior to joining the Select 40 Circuit, they played on the BlueStar Circuit. The Michigan Mystics have been a dominant force in youth basketball, having produced a staggering number of athletes who have gone on to play college ball at all levels. With over 100 of their former players currently playing at the collegiate level, the Michigan Mystics are widely regarded as one of the most successful youth basketball programs in the state of Michigan, if not the entire country.

Jr. All-Star Analysis:

The Michigan Mystics made the move from Blue Star to the Select 40 last season, and they are a mainstay in the midwest club basketball landscape. We expect them to be a condender in a really difficult Blue Division this year. They are led by 2026 Lilly Williams, who is amung the best 2026 post players in the country and will be featured in our 2026 National Player rankings when they come out later this month.
