Select 40 Program Preview: Minnesota Fury Premier

The Minnesota Fury was established in 2006 and has become one of the top programs in the entire country. They are based in the Minneapolis area, but have players from all over Minnesota and western Wisconsin. They have two sets of HS teams – their UAA teams play in the Under Armour Association and their Premier teams are in their first year on the Select 40 circuit. Over the years, they have had several D1 players and even more D2 players come out of our Premier program. Their Premier program, and the Fury program as a whole, really benefits from an outstanding coaching staff that has a long tenure – their Select 40 Head Coaches have been with the program for an average of 10+ years.

Jr. All-Star Analysis:

The addition of the Minnesota Fury Premier teams is a really good one for the Select 40. We are sure you have heard of the program from their UAA teams, but this is going to give everyone a chance to see how deep the Fury is with talented players. Their Fury Premier teams have consistantly had players with D1 offers year in and year out for the past 10+ years. Liz Gadient and Anna Vaaler are players to watch on their 17u team this season, and watch out of Alexis Shaefer on their16u team.
