Select 40 Program Preview: Shock Basketball

Founded in 2010, the Shock Basketball program, based in Oklahoma, has made a name for itself in the world of youth basketball. After playing on the 3SSB Circuit, they are now entering their second year on the Select 40 Circuit. Shock Basketball is known for taking players who are relatively unknown and giving them the kind of regional and national exposure that they need to succeed. Their kids learn how to play hard all the time and develop skills that will stay with them for the rest of their lives. Additionally, the Shock has strong relationships with coaches at all levels across the country, which allows them to help their players take the next step in their careers.

Jr. All-Star Analysis:

A mainstay in the Oklahoma club basketball scene, we expect Shock Basketball’s 17u team to be a contender in the Select 40 Green Division. The one thing that the competition can expect from all Shock teams is for the to play hard, play great help defense, and limit their mistakes. They boast a must-see 2026 in 6’3″ forward Kaylee Ward, who continues to draw interest and offers from high profile schools across the country.
