Keep an eye out for Select 40 articles and content posting throughout the week, including daily standouts and All-Session Teams!
Here is a look at the standout players from Day 1 at Select 40 Session 1 (West):
- Jordan Lee – 5’11 G – 2024 – Jason Kidd Select
Jordan was the most impressive player all weekend long. She outworked her opponents on both ends of the court every game. She is a strong, physical guard with great length and size, and a high-energy, high-motor player. Offensively if she is not getting and-1’s from her strong takes to the basket, she’s snagging offensive rebound put-backs. After she scores, she will pick you up full court and make it incredibly difficult for you to bring the ball up the court.
- Taliyah Parker – 6’1 G – 2024 – Arkansas Banshees
Taliyah is a high-level guard with one of the smoothest euro steps I have seen. If she is not euro stepping through the paint in transition, she’s finishing through contact with an and-1 or pulling up for a mid-range jumper. Defensively, she has quick hands and long arms, and gets tons of deflections.
- Kamryn Mufua – 6’3 F – 2024 – Jason Kidd Select
Kamryn is an athletic forward who is all over the court defensively, getting in passing lanes and getting deflections and blocks. She finishes well around the rim, gets lots of rebound put-backs, and even has a nice 15ft stroke.
- Marcayla Johnson – 5’10 G – 2025- Arkansas Banshees
Marcayla is a strong, athletic guard. She has nice moves around the rim and finishes well through traffic. She out-rebounded, out-hustled, and outworked her opponents all weekend long.
- Taliyah Henderson – 6’1 G – 2025 – Arizona Supreme
Taliyah was a tough match-up for opponents. With her strength, size, and will to dominate, she is hard to stop. She’s aggressive to the rim, uses her strong build, and gets downhill to score with authority. She has a knack for rebounding, which led to many rebound put-back opportunities throughout the weekend. Defensively, she’s a great defender and can effectively guard 1-5.
- Brihanna Crittendon – 6’2 W – 2026 – New Mexico Clippers Lockdown
Brihanna is a spectacular player. She has great footwork, finishes well at the rim, and has a nice stroke from 3. After grabbing a rebound, expect her to go coast-to-coast and finish over and through opponents trying to stop her. Additionally, she knows how to use her length to block shots and guard all positions.
- Janiyah Williams – 5’9 G – 2025 – Arkansas Banshees
Janiyah is a smooth, poised guard. She has great handles and gets to her spot for a pull-up jumper. She’s an unselfish player who makes good decisions and finds her teammates in chaos.
- Myella Chapman – 5’7 – 2027 – Jason Kidd Select
Myella is young, quick, and very talented. She handles the ball well under pressure and has great court vision. She also finishes through contact at a high level.
- Jada Richard – 5’8 G – 2024 – United
Jada has a quick 1 dribble pull-up, and can also get to the rim and finish with ease. She’s very unselfish and gets her teammates involved throughout the game. The LSU commit is a true all-around player.
- Brandie Harrod – 6’0 G – 2025 – Unity
Brandie is a big guard who uses her strength to get to the rim and finish. She is relentless on the glass and throughout the weekend she had several rebound put-backs. She knows how to use her size to post up smaller guards and score. Brandie is also a pest on the defensive end.
- Jada Hunter – 5’9 – 2023 – Team Kidd
- Devin Cosgriff – 5’10 – 2026 – Jason Kidd Select
- Gabrielle Abigor – 6’3 – 2024 – Jason Kidd Select
- Elana Weisman – 6’1 G – 2024 – Jason Kidd Select
- Haniya Gretta – 5’7 – 2025 – Unity
