Live At The Lakes – Player Evaluations (Part 2)

Live At The Lakes took place this weekend in Bloomington, MN, and I did my best to watch and evaluate as many players as I could. Here is a look at some of the talented players that I was able to get my eyes on:

Clara Welker – 2026 – Nebraska Attack 16U UAA

Clara’s toughness and versatility as both a driver and a shooter make her a formidable presence on the basketball court. Her aggressive drives to the basket showcase her fearlessness and ability to finish through contact, consistently putting pressure on opposing defenses. Additionally, Clara’s shooting from the perimeter adds another dimension to her game, making her a dual threat that defenses must respect. Her combination of strength, skill, and determination enables her to score in various ways, whether it’s attacking the rim or knocking down outside shots. 

Kaylee Lake – 2027 – Nebraska Attack 16U UAA

Kaylee’s exceptional ability to drive to the rim, combined with her strong rebounding skills, makes her a standout player on the basketball court. Her speed, agility, and ball-handling allow her to penetrate defenses with ease, consistently creating high-percentage scoring opportunities. Kaylee’s fearless approach and ability to finish at the basket, even through contact, put immense pressure on opposing defenses. Her toughness as a rebounder ensures that she can secure crucial boards on both ends of the floor, providing her team with second-chance points and limiting opponents’ opportunities.

Maya Kovacic – 2026 – Wisconsin Lakers 2026 UAA

Ella Thornton – 2026 – Nebraska Attack 16U Rise

Ella’s dual ability as a shooter and active defender both inside the paint and on the perimeter makes her an exceptional player on the basketball court. Camryn Vanmaldeghem – 2026 – MN Rise 2026 Wendland

Mckenna Rempe – 2028 – Nebraska Attack 8th UAA

Carly Mohatt – 2028 – Nebraska Attack 8th UAA

Carly is a quick-paced guard renowned for her excellent passing skills and key ability to read defenses. Her speed and agility allow her to navigate the court swiftly, creating opportunities for her teammates with precise and timely passes. Carly’s sharp court vision and understanding of defensive schemes enable her to make smart decisions, effectively breaking down defenses and orchestrating the offense. 

Cici Fate – 2028 – Nebraska Attack 8th UAA

Cici is an exceptional player known for her relentless drive to the rim and tireless hustle all over the floor. Her ability to attack the basket with determination and skill makes her a constant scoring threat. Cici’s nonstop motor ensures she is always active, whether it’s diving for loose balls, contesting shots, or creating second-chance opportunities.
